January 05, 2017
by Jeff Adams

Canyonlands Watershed Council has recieved a grant from New Belgium Brewing to support Urban Greening projects as part of our Watershed Stewards Program. Thank you New Belgium Brewing!

Urban Greening positively impacts the community, economy, and watershed by achieving multiple benefits through cost-effective, shovel ready solutions. Benefits include water conservation, stormwater management, neighborhood beautification, mitigation of urban heat island effects, and enhanced pollinator habitat.

We will be collaborating with public agencies and non-profit organizations on landscaping retrofits for resilience and will be hosting community education opportunities throughout the year.

Please check back for workshop opportunities and project updates.
